The American investment fund ORBITA CORP begins the process of acquiring a football club in Europe.
As we exclusively announced last week in The Impact Lawyers, the American investment fund Órbita Corp has initiated the process of buying a European club.
The Impact Lawyers has contacted Gio Gibaja, head of Órbita Corp for this operation and in exclusive statements he has said ‘in the coming weeks our lawyers in Spain will contact the ownership of Granada CF and Malaga CF to gather all the information and, if necessary, make a purchase offer’.
Órbita Corp, in the event that operations in Spain do not progress, also has its sights set on a team in Ligue 2 in France and another in the English Championship.
Gibaja stressed that ‘our priority is a club in Spain, but we don't rule out a French or English club’ ‘we don't want to prolong the purchase process with Granada and Málaga, if in the next few weeks we don't make progress we already have in mind a club in a French city that is the capital of the Region and another in an important city in England. At the moment we don't want to give any more information until we see how everything evolves with the teams in the Spanish second division’.
