4,000 euros fine for 16 fans in Espanyol-Oviedo scuffle
The Anti-Violence Commission met on Monday to deal with the latest altercation that took place during the Espanyol-Oviedo match. The Commission has fined 16 people who took part in a brawl between supporters in an avenue near the stadium during the match between the teams, and has banned them from entering the stadium for twelve months and fined them 4,000 euros.
In recent LaLiga EA Sports matches, this type of altercation has been occurring, which is why the Champions League matches Barcelona-Atalanta, Burgos-Racing Santander and Girona-Arsenal have been declared high-risk.
Rayo Vallecano were also fined a further 4,000 euros for failing to properly control the access and stay of spectators, after a fan jumped onto the pitch at the Real Madrid match. Zaragoza, Manises and Real Sociedad are also in the hot seat. The Commission is considering fining them 3,001 euros for similar reasons in the matches against Racing Ferrol, Getafe and Dinamo Kiev, respectively.
During the Rayo-Real Madrid match, an individual was also fined 4,000 euros for attempting to enter the stadium without a ticket and assaulting the security guard who prevented him from doing so. The same fine was imposed on another fan who interrupted the action of the national police in one of the stands, then refused to identify himself and insulted them repeatedly while they were trying to get those present to support his attitude in the Recreativo de Huelva-Hércules match.
The Anti-Violence Commission has also proposed a fine of 3,500 euros and a nine-month ban for a fan who assaulted another fan because he was obstructing her vision, as he was standing at the Castellón-Mirandés match.
In addition to these requests for sanctions for various reasons, there are many others for supporters who broke the rules during the matches Hércules-Villareal B, Recreativo de Huelva-Hércules, Rayo-Real Madrid, Real Sociedad-Dinamo Kiev, Pontevedra Levante, Levante-Elche and Manises-Getafe.
