Freshfields has launched its 2021 Diversity Fellowship Programme
Freshfields has demonstrated its commitment to employee diversity by announcing the completion of its 2021 Diversity Fellowship Programme, which includes three students from Columbia Law School, Georgetown University Law Center and Harvard Law School.
Through this programme, selected students must show an interest in promoting diversity in the legal sector and will participate in a summer programme at Freshfields' US offices. Specifically, the programme offers up to $20,000 and mentoring from the firm's international lawyers and an explanation of Frashfields' diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and their impact on the legal sector.
Freshfields' US summer associate programme offers the resources of a large international firm, along with the benefits of a smaller, more personalised experience. The programme is adapted each year to ensure that it remains substantive, relevant and rewarding.
