"CaseMap Cloud lets lawyers, paralegals and litigators pull all their facts together in a single place"

1. What needs does CaseMap Cloud try to cover?

Keeping track of facts, documents, issues, people and important details can be a challenge even on a relatively straightforward case. CaseMap Cloud lets lawyers, paralegals and litigators pull all their facts together in a single place, giving them a holistic view of the entire case to help build a strong legal strategy. Being able to organize, analyze and interact with all the elements in the case in one location enables legal teams to work faster, smarter and more efficiently by allowing quick access to vital documents and other critical case details.

2. Is it a tool that can be shared between different lawyers?.

Right now, attorneys can fully collaborate inside their own firm.

3. Is this tool supported, or in use, in any court or tribunal?

Not at this time, but we are looking at ways CaseMap might fit within Courts and Tribunals

4. What are the strengths of CaseMap Cloud?

Platform agnostic, Research Integration, Entity Recognition, Auto Timeline Creation, Transcript Management and Deposition Video Synching.

5. How do you ensure that clients' documents and data are safe?

All of our data is encrypted within the Cloud

6. How much does it cost?

The cost depends on the size of the firm, the number of software licenses needed, and other considerations. The best way for firms to get a sense of cost would be to contact their LexisNexis sales rep for a quote

7. Do you think the future of trial lawyers lies in using software like CaseMap Cloud?

Of course, applications like CaseMap Cloud allow attorneys to access their data anywhere.  Being platform agnostic also means that Attorneys are able to connect and collaborate between platforms that traditionally might not interact.
