Linklaters: law firm of the year in Africa according to IFLR Africa Awards 2020

Linklaters has been designated as the international law firm of the year at the IFLR Africa Awards 2020. The judging panel had been composed of editors and journalists from IFLR.

“The IFLR awards recognise legal innovation in cross-border transactions. To be considered, all deals must have closed between Maw 31 209 and May 31 2020. The deals must meet the specific criteria to be categorized as cross-border and as Sub-Saharan African”, informed IFLR in a press release. 

In addition, Linklaters appears in the list of deals of the year, announced by IFLR, specifically in the capital market sector

This list includes relevant law firms such as Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Katende Ssempebwa & Co, Musa Dudhia & Co or Savjani & Co, among others. Also, Linklaters appears as the Teams of the year in the capital market industry
