Angus Lyon has practiced as a litigation solicitor for almost 40 years most of the time as a partner in at Mears Hobbs & Durrant (England), specializing as a claimant personal injury lawyer. He is a professional deputy. He has been served as a LawCare volunteer since 2008, and was regularly recommended in this area of work has appeared in several occasions in the Legal 500.
Partly as a result of his growing While working in psychiatric injuries, he developed an interest in psychotherapy and obtained a secondary qualification as a psychodynamic counsellor.
He is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, was a director and co-founder of Catalyst Counselling CIC, a social enterprise providing counselling and training.
